I nuovi “VRT KTM Factory Juniors” hanno svelato la loro livrea per la stagione agonistica 2023 mentre il team intraprende il suo obiettivo di aiutare a sviluppare la prossima linea di stelle KTM MXGP.

La squadra con sede in Francia ha già maturato sei anni di collaborazione con KTM, ma il 2023 vedrà lo sforzo di Mickaël Vrignon affermarsi come piattaforma ufficiale di KTM per gli adolescenti che aspirano a fare il salto dalla competizione del campionato europeo EMX al campionato mondiale FIM MX2.

Il team ha reclutato il duo di 16 anni Marc-Antoine Rossi (francese e vincitore della gara EMX125) e Ferruccio Zanchi (italiano, e tre volte visitatore sul gradino più alto della EMX125) per il loro progetto per il 2023 e armati della KTM 250 SX-F nella classe EMX250; l’ultimo passo prima della scena mondiale.

VRT KTM Factory Juniors avrà un legame più forte che mai con il dipartimento KTM Motorsport e si avvarrà anche dell’esperienza dell’ex campione di motocross ed enduro “Pela” Renet come Team Manager. Il francese ha posseduto bandiere a scacchi di altissimo livello e la sua conoscenza della preparazione, dell’approccio alla gara e della strategia sarà un grande vantaggio per Rossi, Zanchi e tutta la struttura. Come parte del loro “riscaldamento” per la campagna continentale, i VRT KTM Factory Juniors faranno il loro debutto a Ponte a Egola per la data di apertura degli Internazionali d’Italia serie nazionale questo fine settimana.

Il campionato europeo EMX2023 del 250 è formato da 11 round, tutti disputati durante gli eventi MXGP Grand Prix. La gara di apertura si svolgerà a Riola Sardo per il Gran Premio di Sardegna il 26 marzo e toccherà poi Italia, Portogallo, Spagna, Lettonia, Germania, Finlandia, Svezia, Olanda, Turchia e Gran Bretagna.

Marc-Antoine Rossi: “Sono molto contento dell’allenamento invernale della nostra squadra in Sardegna. Abbiamo lavorato molto in pista e fuori pista e sono pronto per ricominciare a correre in Italia questo fine settimana”.

Ferruccio Zanchi: “Sono più che pronto per iniziare la stagione 2023, ho fatto una buona preparazione invernale con un buon feeling con la nuova moto. Non vedo l’ora che inizi la stagione!”

Pierre-Alexandre Renet, Team Manager: “Siamo molto felici di svelare i colori 2023! Al momento ci troviamo in Sardegna per terminare l’allenamento invernale prima di iniziare questo fine settimana le prime gare di preparazione in Italia. I piloti si sentono abbastanza bene sulla moto e tutta la squadra sta lavorando sodo per preparare la stagione. Siamo tutti pronti per partire e non vediamo l’ora di ricominciare a correre”.

Mickaël Vrignon, Team Principal: “Sono contento di iniziare ufficialmente il 2023 con Ferruccio e Marc-Antoine, entrambi hanno lavorato duramente tutto l’inverno per essere pronti e presto andremo in Italia per due gare di preparazione a Ponte A Egola e Arco di Trento . Non vedo davvero l’ora che arrivino quelle gare in modo che possano iniziare a mostrare il loro potenziale “.

Robert Jonas, Head of Motorsports Off Road: “Siamo entusiasti di questo progetto per due motivi. Innanzitutto Mickaël, Pela ei ragazzi hanno un buon programma che sicuramente aiuterà e gioverà a Marc-Antoine e Ferruccio. Speriamo davvero che questi due adolescenti possano mostrarci le loro capacità e il loro potenziale. Questo ci porta alla seconda ragione e questo è il percorso più chiaro che abbiamo messo in atto ancora una volta per il nostro giovane talento del motocross. VRT KTM FACTORY JUNIORS READY TO RACE FOR 2023 EMX MOTOCROSS

The newly formed ‘VRT KTM Factory Juniors’ have unveiled their livery for the 2023 racing season as the team embarks on its objective to help develop the next line of KTM MXGP stars.

The France-based squad have already accrued six years of collaboration with KTM but 2023 will see Mickaël Vrignon’s effort established as KTM’s official platform for teenagers aspiring to make the jump from EMX European Championship competition to FIM MX2 World Championship racing.

The team have recruited 16-year-old duo Marc-Antoine Rossi (French and an EMX125 race winner) and Ferruccio Zanchi (Italian, and three times a visitor to the top step of EMX125) for their project for 2023 and armed with the KTM 250 SX-F in the EMX250 class; the final step before the world stage.

VRT KTM Factory Juniors will have a stronger link than ever to the KTM Motorsport department and will also lean on the experience of top former motocross and enduro champion ‘Pela’ Renet as Team Manager. The Frenchman has owned checkered flags at the highest level and his knowledge of preparation, race approach and strategy will be a big benefit for Rossi, Zanchi and the whole structure. As part of their ‘warm-up’ for the continental campaign, VRT KTM Factory Juniors will make their debut appearance at Ponte a Egola for the opening date of the Internazionali D’Italia domestic series this weekend.

The 2023 EMX250 European Championship is formed of 11 rounds, all running at MXGP Grand Prix events. The opening race takes place at Riola Sardo for the Grand Prix of Sardegna on 26th March and will then visit Italy, Portugal, Spain, Latvia, Germany, Finland, Sweden, the Netherlands, Turkey and Great Britain.

Marc-Antoine Rossi: “I am very happy with ourteam winter training in Sardinia. We worked hard on and off track and I am ready to start racing again in Italy this weekend.”

Ferruccio Zanchi: “I am more than ready to start the 2023 season, I had a good winter prep with a good feeling on the new bike. I can’t wait for the season to start!”

Pierre-Alexandre Renet, Team Manager: “We are very happy to unveil the 2023 colors! We currently are in Sardinia to finish the winter training before starting the first preparation races in Italy this weekend. The riders feel pretty good on the bikes and the whole team is working really hard to prepare the season. We are all ready to go and look forward to start racing again.”

Mickaël Vrignon, Team Principal: “I am glad to officially start 2023 with Ferruccio and Marc-Antoine, they both worked really hard all winter to be ready and we will soon head to Italy for two preparation races in Ponte A Egola and Arco di Trento. I really look forward to those races so they can start to show their potential.”
