Anche nel GP di Germania di Teutschenthal, Adamo autore di un solido weekend che gli consegna il settimo posto di giornata della MX2 . Nella EMX250, Tuani fatica e rimedia un punto in gara 2; Ruffini, in crescita, centra per la prima volta la ‘top 20’.

Con il GP di Germania, sullo storico tracciato di Teutschenthal, il FIM Motocross World Championship giunge all’undicesimo round stagionale e completa il ‘tris’ di gare ravvicinate prima della trasferta oltreoceano per la prova indonesiana di Samota-Sumbawa. Anche per questa prova, di contorno alle gare del mondiale è prevista la partecipazione dei ragazzi del Campionato EMX250, al loro sesto appuntamento in calendario.
Il team SM Action GasGas Racing Team Yuasa Battery è presente all’evento con Andrea Adamo #80 (MX2), Federico Tuani #3 e Luca Ruffini #699 (EMX250). Assente Alberto Forato #303 (MXGP) dopo l’infortunio al perone subito nella prova francese di Ernée.
Sabato mattina, le libere della EMX250 terminano con un 17° tempo per Tuani e un 30° tempo per Ruffini; le seguenti cronometrate vedono Tuani 19° e Ruffini 39°. La prima manche del sabato pomeriggio, ha esito positivo solo per Ruffini, che sul tracciato tedesco ritrova velocità e determinazione. Partito 20°, il pilota tiene un buon ritmo e disputa tutta la manche ai margini della ‘top 20’ conservando la posizione sino a traguardo e guadagnando il suo primo punto in ambito europeo. Per Tuani, partito intorno alla 24a piazza, la manche si complica nel corso del sesto passaggio quando un errore lo arretra a fondo classifica. Autore di una piccola rimonta, taglia il traguardo 32°. La seconda manche, che si tiene domenica mattina, ha esito positivo solo per Tuani invece. Il toscano parte a ridosso della ‘top 20’ e lungo le quindici tornate di gara si guadagna un posticino in ‘zona punti’ chiudendo 20°. Ruffini invece, partito 30°, è vittima di un errore in piena rimonta e la sua gara si disputa tutta nelle retrovie e si chiude con un 31° posto. A fine giornata, i due piloti dell’ SM Action GasGas Racing Team Yuasa Battery si ritrovano appaiati in 21a e 22a posizione. In classifica generale, Tuani risulta 24°; Ruffini fa il suo ingresso in classifica generale con il 49° posto.
In MX2, la prestazione di Andrea nelle libere del sabato mattina è da 10° in classifica. Nelle cronometrate, il siciliano migliora e chiude 8°. La manche di qualifica, vede Adamo stabilizzarsi in 7a piazza dopo un avvio nella ‘top 5’. Negli ultimi giri che conducono al traguardo, il pilota GasGas porta a termine il sorpasso su un avversario che lo precede e fa sua la 6a piazza.
Domenica, in avvio di gara 1, Andrea occupa la 6a posizione nelle fasi iniziali successive alla partenza ma prima della fine del giro iniziale, si stabilizza in 7a posizione. Terminata la prima parte di gara, Andrea supera l’avversario che lo precede e riconquista il 6° posto ma riesce a tenerlo solo per alcune tornate. Quando la bandiera a scacchi sancisce la fine, il siciliano risulta 7°. In gara 2, l’alfiere della GasGas centra una straordinaria partenza e dopo il lungo rettifilo di partenza curva in 3a posizione. Nelle prime fasi, Andrea duella con numerosi avversari per poi stabilizzarsi definitivamente in 6a posizione e tagliare il traguardo. Con un 7° ed un 6° posto nelle due manche disputate, Adamo si ritrova 7° a fine gran premio; in classifica di campionato, tiene saldamente la sua 6a piazza.
Il dodicesimo round del FIM Motocross World Championship si terrà in Indonesia sul tracciato di Samota-Sumbawa nel weekend del 25 e 26 giugno. Essendo una prova oltreoceano, non ci saranno classi di contorno. Prima della suddetta data, il team sarà presente al quarto round del Campionato Italiano MX PRO Prestige di Pietramurata, fissato per il weekend del 18 e 19 giugno presso il circuito ‘Ciclamino’.
Andrea Adamo #80: “Un altro solido weekend questo di Teutschenthal con un 7° posto nella prima manche ed un 6° posto nella seconda manche. Ancora una volta sono 7° di giornata. Adesso ci saranno due settimane di stop, poi voleremo in Indonesia. Proverò a recuperare il più possibile per essere come sempre al 100%.”
Federico Tuani #3: “Poco da dire per me…. weekend disastroso.”
Luca Ruffini #669: “Sabato nelle libere ho avuto subito un buon feeling con la pista. Nelle qualifiche, ho fatto qualche giro buono ma per qualche errore di troppo ho concluso 39°. Nella prima manche sono partito dall’ultimo cancelletto e sono scattato intorno alla 27a posizione. Ho ‘battagliato’ tutta la manche e sono arrivato fino al 17° posto ma verso gli ultimi tre giri ho calato un po’ il ritmo e ho finito 20°. Nella seconda manche sono scattato sempre intorno alla 25a posizione e quando mi trovavo 22° ho fatto una scivolata che mi ha fatto retrocedere di una decina di posizioni, concludendo 31°. Peccato per la caduta in gara 2 perché i tempi c’erano e qualche posizione più avanti l’avrei fatta. Ora sappiamo che possiamo fare meglio!! Ci vediamo in Belgio.”

At Teutschenthal, in the GP of Germany, Adamo had another solid weekend that awarded him with the 7th place Overall in the MX2. In the EMX250 Tuani entered in the “top 20” in Race 2 only; Ruffini qualified for the race for his first time and finished Race 1 in the points-area.
FIM Motocross World Championship reached the 11th round of the season with the GP of Germany, which took place at the historical circuit of Teutschenthal, and completed its three-in-a-row races before going overseas for the Indonesian GP at Samota-Sumbawa. On this occasion, once again, EMX250 Championship was scheduled for its 6th round of the season.
M Action GasGas Racing Team Yuasa Battery went to the event deploying Andrea Adamo #80 (MX2), Federico Tuani #3 and Luca Ruffini #669 (EMX250). Alberto Forato #303 was not there as he suffered an injury to his fibula during the French round at Ernée.
On Saturday morning, the EMX250 Free Practice finished with the 17th place for Tuani and the 30th for Ruffini; the following Timed Practice ended with Tuani in P19 and Ruffini in P39: Luca qualified for the races for the first time of the season. Race 1, in the afternoon, had a positive result only for Ruffini, who again found speed and determination at the German round. He started 20th, kept a good race pace and consequently the position, which awarded him with the first point gained in a European Championship. Tuani, who started in P24, complicated his race himself as he made a mistake during lap 6 and moved back to the end of the group. He then made a little recovery and he crossed the finish line in P32. In Race 2, on Sunday morning, only Tuani had a positive result instead. The rider from Tuscany started just shy of a few places from the “top 20” and he gained a placement in the points-area, thanks to the regular pace that he had during the 15 laps of the race, finishing 20th. Ruffini, instead, started in P30, made a small mistake while he was moving up and he finished in P31. At the end of the day the two SM Action GasGas Racing Team Yuasa Battery riders were close to each other in P21 and P22 Overall. In the General Classification Tuani is 24th, while Ruffini entered it for the first time and he is in 49th position.
In MX2 Andrea finished Free Practice on Saturday morning in 10th place. In Timed Practice the Sicilian improved and he finished in P8. In the Qualifying Race Adamo stabilized in P7 after that he started in the “top 5”. During the last laps of the race the GasGas rider completed an overtake and he made it to P6.
On Sunday, at Race 1 start, Andrea was 6th, but before the end of the first lap he moved back in P7. Once the first half of the race was completed, Andrea managed to overtake the rider ahead of him and he then gained the 6th place, which he kept only for a few laps. The rider from Sicily was 7th when the checkered flag was waved. In Race 2 the GasGas rider made an extraordinary start, and after the main long straight he made turn 1 in P3. During the first laps Andrea had some duels and he then stabilized in P6 until he crossed the finish line. With a 7th and a 6th position Adamo ended the GP in P7 Overall; in the General Classification he is strongly in P6.
the 12th round of the FIM Motocross World Championship will take place in Indonesia at Samota-Sumbawa circuit, on the weekend of the 25th and the 26th of June. As it will be overseas, there will not be any other categories around. Before that date, though, the team will participate to the 4th round of the MX PRO Prestige Italian Championship at Pietramurata, which is scheduled on the weekend of the 18th and the 19th of June at the “Ciclamino” circuit.
Andrea Adamo #80: “Another solid weekend at Teutschenthal with a P7 in Race 1 and a P6 in Race 2. Once again I finished 7th Overall. I will now have two weeks of stop before flying to Indonesia. I will try to regain my shape to be as always at the 100% of my condition.”
Federico Tuani #3: “Little to say for me…. disastrous weekend. ”
Luca Ruffini # 669: “On Saturday in free practice I immediately had a good feeling with the track. In qualifying, I did some good laps but for a few too many mistakes I finished 39th. In the first heat I started from the last gate and sprinted around 27th position. I ‘fought’ the whole heat and got up to 17th place but towards the last three laps I dropped the pace a bit and finished 20th. In the second heat I always sprinted around 25th position and when I was 22nd I made a crash that made me go back a dozen places, finishing 31st. Too bad about the crash in race 2 because there were times and a few positions ahead I would have done it. Now we know we can do better !! See you in Belgium.”
