Sul celebre tracciato di Uddevalla, Maxime Renaux conquista la ‘Top 5’ nella classe MX2. Andrea Adamo a punti in gara 2 della EMX250.
Sul rinomato impianto di Uddevalla si è disputato il 16° round del Mondiale, nonché l’ultimo del campionato continentale. Nella MX2, Maxime Renaux ha confermato l’ottimo stato di forma, agguantando la quinta piazza nell’assoluta di giornata. Nell’EMX250, invece, Andrea Adamo si è aggiudicato 4 punti nella manche conclusiva, incamerando anche in questo frangente una buona dose di esperienza in vista del futuro.
Maxime Renaux ha mostrato di essere competitivo fin da subito, registrando il miglior tempo nelle prove libere. Nella manche di qualifica non ha avuto un ottimo spunto iniziale, non riuscendo ad andare oltre al 12°posto. Il francese si è prontamente riscattato in Gara 1; questa volta è uscito meglio dai blocchi di partenza e ciò gli ha permesso di inserirsi subito nel gruppo dei migliori. Grazie ad una manche accorta e priva di sbavature, ha concluso al 6° posto. Nella heat conclusiva ha bissato la buona partenza registrata in precedenza, riuscendo in breve a portarsi in 5° piazza. La seconda parte della manche ha visto il transalpino consolidare il risultato, permettendogli così di terminare nella medesima posizione nella generale. Un risultato significativo che lo ha mantenuto al 7° posto in campionato, a poche lunghezze dal britannico Adam Sterry.
Andrea Adamo ha esordito nel weekend svedese facendo registrare il 17° tempo nella sessione di qualifica. Nella prima frazione ha avuto una partenza infelice che lo ha relegato in fondo al gruppo. Il giovane pilota azzurro si è prodigato nel cercare di rimontare quante più posizioni possibili, ma non è riuscito a centrare la zona punti, terminando 26°. In Gara 2, invece, ha avuto un avvio decisamente migliore; ciò gli ha dato la possibilità di battagliare per le zone che contano della classifica, riuscendo a strappare il 17° posto di manche. Nell’assoluta ha così ripetuto il risultato realizzato nella heat di chiusura, chiudendo così il campionato in 23° posizione.
Il Campionato del mondo proseguirà in Turchia il prossimo 8 settembre, dove andrà in scena il penultimo appuntamento iridato della stagione.

On the famous Uddevalla track, Maxime Renaux grabbed the ‘Top 5′ in the MX2 class. Andrea Adamo points in race 2 of the EMX250.
The renowned circuit of Uddevalla hosted the 16th round of the World Championship and the last round of the European Championship. In the MX2, Maxime Renaux confirmed his excellent shape as he finished in 5th place in the Daily Overall. In the EMX250, instead, Andrea Adamo gained 4 points in Race 2, and he made some more experience that will surely pay back in the future.
Maxime Renaux was competitive straight away, as he made the fastest lap time in Free Practice. In Qualifying Race he did not make a good start and he finished 12th. He redeemed in Race 1 though, as he went out fast from the starting gate and he entered the top riders’ group. He raced carefully and he did not make mistakes, and he finished 6th. In Race 2 he made a good start again and he quickly reached the 5th place. In the second half of the race he confirmed his placement, and he also finished 5th in the Daily Overall. He made a significant result that maintained him in 7th place in the General Classification, with only a few points of gap from Adam Sterry.
Andrea Adamo started the weekend signing the 17th fastest lap time of Qualifying Session. In Race 1 he made a bad start and he moved to the back of the group. The young rider tried to do his best to recover, bue he was not able to reach the points-area, as he finished in 26th place. In Race 2, instead, he made a better start, and this allowed him to fight for the important placements, as he finished in 17th position. He finished 17th in the Daily Overall Classification too and he finished the Championship in 23rd place.
The World Championship will continue on the 8th of September, when Turkey will host the second to last appointment of the season.
