Afyonkarahisar (TR) – Un risultato strepitoso per l’SM ACTION RACING TEAM.
Al via della diciassettesima tappa del campionato iridato, il team modenese schiera al via Alberto Forato in MXGP, Federico Tuani che prenderà il via nella classe MX2 per le ultime tre tappe del campionato mondiale e Luca Ruffini nella EMX250.
Già dal sabato il fondo duro del tracciato turco mette alla prova i piloti del team, che si aggiudica un sedicesimo posto nella gara di qualifica della MX2 con Federico Tuani. La MXGP è costretta a non disputare la gara di qualifica a causa di un violento acquazzone, che insieme al vento forte, ha impossibilitato i piloti a prendere il via. Valgono quindi le prove cronometrate per la scelta del cancello, dove Forato ha ottenuto il decimo posto.
Nella classe EMX250 buona prestazione di Ruffini che al termine di gara uno termina in quattordicesima posizione, mostrando un buon passo gara e una buona determinazione.

Dimenticato l’acquazzone del sabato, il sole torna a splendere sul tracciato turco nella giornata di domenica, e Ruffini termina gara due bissando il risultato di gara uno in quattordicesima posizione. La somma dei due risultati lo vede in quattordicesima piazza di giornata.
Nella MX2 prestazione consistente di Federico Tuani, che in gara uno ottiene il quindicesimo posto dimostrando una buona velocità anche in questa categoria, come già visto anche in altri gran premi quest’anno. In gara due Federico va addirittura meglio, finendo tredicesimo alla bandiera a scacchi. La somma dei due risultati lo vedono in quattordicesima posizione di giornata.

Dopo diverse gare sempre nella top ten, Alberto Forato disputa la miglior gara della sua carriera nella MXGP: dopo una partenza in sesta posizione riesce a guadagnare un’altra posizione e termina in quinta posizione alla bandiera a scacchi, ottenendo così una top five inseguita da tempo.
In gara due dopo una lotta per la top five alla bandiera a scacchi è settimo, e la somma dei due risultati gli conferisce il quinto posto di giornata, un ottimo risultato per team e pilota che certifica il lavoro svolto fino ad ora e dà un importante spinta per il prossimo gran premio, in cui il team giocherà in casa nel weekend del 16-17 settembre a Maggiora.

Afyonkarahisar (TR) – An amazing result for the SM ACTION RACING TEAM.
At the start of the seventeenth round of the world championship, the team from Modena lines up Alberto Forato in MXGP, Federico Tuani who will start in the MX2 class for the last three rounds of the world championship and Luca Ruffini in EMX250. Since Saturday, the hard surface of the Turkish track puts the team’s riders to the test, which wins a sixteenth place in the MX2 qualifying race with Federico Tuani.
The MXGP is forced not to dispute the qualifying race due to a violent downpour, which together with the strong wind, prevented the riders from starting. Saturday’s downpour forgotten, the sun shines again on the Turkish track on Sunday, and Ruffini finishes race two repeating the result of race one in fourteenth position. The sum of the two results sees him in fourteenth place on the day. In MX2 consistent performance by Federico Tuani, who in race one gets the fifteenth place demonstrating a good speed also in this category, as already seen in other grand prix this year. After several races always in the top ten, Alberto Forato disputes the best race of his career in the MXGP: after a start in sixth position he manages to gain another position and finishes in fifth position at the checkered flag, thus obtaining a top five chased by time. In race two, after a fight for the top five, he is seventh at the checkered flag, and the sum of the two results gives him fifth place of the day, an excellent result for team and driver which certifies the work done up to now and gives an important push for the next grand prix, in which the team will play at home on the weekend of 16-17 September in Maggiora.
