SDM CORSE YAMAHA TEAM – ITALIANO PRESTIGE FAENZA REPORT

I mesi appena trascorsi hanno messo a dura prova il mondo intero a causa della pandemia Globale, ma fortunatamente dopo un lungo periodo di stop si sta tornando lentamente alla normalità sia nella vita privata che nel lavoro e anche lo sport sta cercando di ripartire in piena sicurezza.

Tutti gli appassionati di Motocross hanno atteso a lungo la ripartenza delle attività agonistiche che in Italia hanno preso il via in forma ufficiale il week end scorso con la prima tappa del Campionato italiano Motocross Prestige, al quale hanno partecipato circa duecento piloti tra cui diversi top rider stranieri del Mondiale Motocross.

In pista con i colori del TeamSDMCorse sono scesi Michele Cervellin #747 all’esordio nella classe MX1 e Raffaele Giuzio #220 anche lui esordiente nella classe MX2.

Ottima la prestazione di Michele che dimostra sempre più feeling con la cilindrata maggiore, infatti, dopo un’ottima partenza in gara uno non fatica a mantenersi nel gruppetto di testa lottando fino all’ultima curva per la seconda piazza e concludendo con un’ottima terza posizione.

Gara due fotocopia per Michele che parte ancora terzo e mantiene la posizione per metà gara, salvo dover rallentare il suo ritmo sul finale per un guasto tecnico che comunque gli permette di concludere questa prima tappa in quarta posizione assoluta.

Raffaele Giuzio a Faenza

Positivo l’esordio anche per Raffaele Giuzio che nonostante una caduta al primo giro di gara uno dimostra sempre un ottimo passo gara in entrambe le manches e concludendo gara due in ottava posizione che gli permette di chiudere la giornata in sedicesima posizione.

Dopo mesi di attesa finalmente i nostri piloti si sono tolti la ruggine e sono pronti a ripartire anche nelle competizioni Internazionali che verranno definitivamente formalizzate a giorni.

The past few months have put a strain on the whole world due to the Global pandemic, but fortunately after a long period of stop it is slowly returning to normal both in private life and in work and even sport is trying to start again in complete safety.

All Motocross fans have long waited for the restart of the races that in Italy took off officially last weekend with the first round of the Italian Motocross Prestige Championship, which was attended by about two hundred riders including several top riders of the Motocross World Championships.

Michele Cervellin # 747 made his debut in the MX1 class and Raffaele Giuzio # 220 also made his debut in the MX2 class with the colors of our TeamSDMCorse. Excellent performance of Michele who shows more and more feeling with the higher engine, in fact, after an excellent start in race one, he does not struggle to remain in the leading group, fighting until the last corner for second place and ending with an excellent third position. Race two was a photocopy for Michele who still starts third and maintains the position for half the race, except having to slow down his rhythm on the final due to a technical failure which however allows him to conclude this first race in fourth overall position.

The debut was also positive for Raffaele Giuzio who despite a fall on the first lap of race one always shows an excellent race pace in both manches and concluding race two in eighth position which allows him to end the day in sixteenth position.

After months of waiting our riders have finally removed the rust and are ready to start again in the International competitions that will be definitively formalized in a few days.
