Terzo appuntamento con il campionato Italiano Motocross che si è disputato a Montevarchi, pista storica dal fondo duro che negli ultimi anni è stata modificata per renderla un impianto al passo con le migliori piste d’Europa.

Nelle qualifiche il francese Jimmy Clochet si è subito trovato a suo agio sul fondo di Montevarchi e grazie ad una buona velocità sul giro secco ha ottenuto il secondo miglior tempo del suo gruppo, dalla classifica dei due gruppi Jimmy ha potuto schierarsi dal quarto cancello.
Un buon avvio nella prima manche da la possibilità a Clochet di inserirsi nel gruppo dei migliori, Jimmy con un ottimo passo gara è riuscito a concludere in sesta posizione.
In gara 2 Jimmy Clochet riesce ad avere una buonissima uscita dal cancello di partenza inserendosi in seconda posizione alle spalle di Tim Gjaser, il francese è riuscito per buona parte della gara a tenere il ritmo del leader, purtroppo a causa di una scivolata ha perso qualche posizione. Negli ultimi giri della manche Jimmy ha sofferto di indurimento degli avambracci dovendo alzare il ritmo e concludendo in settima piazza.
Clochet con i due risultati conseguiti ha chiuso il suo week end in settima posizione.
Prossimo appuntamento con il Campionato Italiano Mx Prestige il 5-6 giugno a Cavallara.

Third appointment with the Italian Motocross Championship which was held in Montevarchi, a historic track with a hard surface that in recent years has been modified to make it a facility in step with the best tracks in Europe.
In qualifying the French Jimmy Clochet immediately found himself at ease on the bottom of Montevarchi and thanks to a good speed on the flying lap he obtained the second best time of his group, from the classification of the two groups Jimmy was able to line up from the fourth gate.
A good start in the first heat gives Clochet the opportunity to enter the group of the best, Jimmy with an excellent race pace managed to finish in sixth position.
In race 2 Jimmy Clochet manages to have a very good exit from the starting gate by entering second position behind Tim Gjaser, the Frenchman managed to keep pace with the leader for a good part of the race, unfortunately he lost some position. In the last laps of the heat Jimmy suffered from hardening of his forearms, having to increase the pace and finishing in seventh place.
With the two results achieved, Clochet closed his weekend in seventh position.
Next appointment with the Italian Mx Prestige Championship on 5-6 June in Cavallara.
