Con la stagione 2019 del motocross oramai ufficialmente terminata, è quanto mai attivo il lavoro dei team per trovare nuovi piloti così come è attivo quello dei piloti per trovare nuovi accasamenti.
Nel Team SM Action Yamaha, per quanto riguarda la stagione 2020, le novità riguardano al momento la riconferma di due dei quattro piloti assoldati per la stagione 2018. Il francese Maxime Renaux e la giovane promessa del motocross italiano Andrea Adamo resteranno in sella alle Yamaha YZF250 del team modenese che per il prossimo anno, avrà le sue moto equipaggiate con i motori ufficiali direttamente sviluppati da Michele Rinaldi.
Per quanto riguarda Maxime Renaux, la sua stagione nel mondiale MX2 è stata caratterizzata da un costante crescendo di prestazioni, culminata con il podio ottenuto in occasione del GP d’Italia sul tracciato di Imola. Con prestazioni sempre molto vicine alla ‘top 5’ nella seconda parte di stagione, il francese ha dimostrato una buona velocità ed ha chiuso la sua stagione con un 7° posto assoluto nella combattiva classe MX2. Buona anche la sua prestazione nel Campionato Italiano MX Prestige, concluso con un 4° posto assoluto. Nel 2020, il francese rinnoverà il suo pimpegno nella classe MX2, sia nel tricolore italiano che nel mondiale.
Andrea Adamo, nella sua stagione di esordio nel Campionato EMX250 si è comportato bene dimostrando ampi margini di crescita. Il vero e proprio cambio di passo, l’italiano lo ha messo in atto verso la fine della stagione in occasione degli ultimi round del Campionato Italiano MX Prestige dove Andrea ha ampiamente dimostrato di poter stare con i primi e puntare anche alla vittoria. Purtroppo l’incidente in occasione della prova di Malpensa, nell’ultimo giro di gara 1, gli ha negato questa prestigioso risultato ma il siciliano saprà sicuramente rifarsi nella prossima stagione. In questa appena terminata, Adamo si è classificato 7° assoluto. Il 2020, vedrà Andrea ancora impegnato nel Campionato EMX250 così come nel tricolore italiano MX2.
A quanto sopra enunciato, si va ad aggiungere la vera novità in casa SM Action Yamaha per la stagione 2020. Il Team gestito da Emanuele Giovanelli e Matteo Migliori, farà il suo bedutto nella classe MXGP con un pilota di primo livello e l’annuncio definitivo con l’ufficializzazione dell’accordo, sarà dato nei prossimi giorni.

Renaux and Adamo confirmed by the Yamaha SM Action Team also for the 2020 season.
With the 2019 motocross season now officially over, the teams work to find new drivers as well as the riders’ one to find new settlements.
In the Yamaha SM Action Team, as far as the 2020 season is concerned, the news currently concerns the reconfirmation of two of the four drivers hired for the 2018 season. The French Maxime Renaux and the promising young Italian motocross Andrea Adamo will stay on the Yamaha YZF250 of the italian team that for next year, will have its bikes equipped with the official engines directly developed by Michele Rinaldi.
As for Maxime Renaux, his season in the MX2 world championship was characterized by a steady increase in performance, culminating with the podium obtained at the Italian GP on the Imola track. With performances always very close to the ‘top 5’ in the second half of the season, the Frenchman showed good speed and finished his season with a 7th place overall in the competitive MX2 class. Also good was his performance in the Italian MX Prestige Championship, which ended in 4th place overall. In 2020, the French will renew its commitment in the MX2 class, both in the Italian championship and in the world championship.
Andrea Adamo, in his debut season in the EMX250 Championship, performed well, showing ample room for growth. The real change of pace, the Italian has implemented it towards the end of the season on the occasion of the last rounds of the Italian MX Prestige Championship where Andrea has amply demonstrated that he can stay with the leaders and also aim for victory. To the above, we add the real novelty at SM Action Yamaha for the 2020 season.
