Montevarchi (AR), 16 Febbraio 2025 – La seconda ed ultima prova degli Internazionali d’Italia MX si è disputata sul rinnovato tracciato del Miravalle di Montevarchi. Nonostante le abbondanti piogge cadute nei giorni precedenti alla gara un week end di sole ha permesso il regolare svolgimento della manifestazione.

Ancora una volta i nostri due ragazzi in sella alle TM hanno onorato al meglio l’impegno. Ad iniziare con le cronometrate del mattino che assegnavano i posti al cancelletto di partenza. Nella 125 Niccolò Mannini ha fatto sua la pole position mettendo dietro tutti. In MX2 Julius Mikula ha staccato il settimo tempo guadagnandosi una bella posizione di partenza.
Niccolò è partito come meglio non si poteva in gara uno. Scattato ottimamente ha girato davanti a tutti alla prima curva e da li in poi ha comandato il gruppo fino alla bandiera a scacchi con un ritmo molto sostenuto. L’unico ad impensierirlo nel finale è stato Utech ma Nicky lo ha tenuto a bada fino al traguardo portando al team la prima vittoria di manche del 2025.
Nella seconda manche il suo scatto non è stato altrettanto buono, ma gli ha permesso di stare da subito nei primi cinque. Al primo passaggio è transitato quarto per portarsi al terzo per qualche tornata. Dopo metà gara ha perso un paio di posizioni per poi riprendersi il quarto posto a tre giri dal termine. Con questo piazzamento, unito alla vittoria di gara uno, Niccolò ha fatto sua l’assoluta di giornata della 125 ed è salito sul gradino più alto del podio!

Nella classifica finale di questi Internazionali ha ottenuto la seconda posizione mettendosi al collo la medaglia d’argento. Una grande soddisfazione per lui e per il team, il suo inizio di stagione ci fa ben sperare anche in chiave continentale.
Julius nella MX2 al via di gara uno è scattato bene ma alla prima curva è rimasto invischiato nel centro del gruppo. Al primo passaggio è transitato in dodicesima posizione e da li ha iniziato la sua rimonta. Dopo aver impiegato qualche giro a prendere confidenza con il tracciato ha iniziato una serie di sorpassi che lo hanno portato fino alla sesta posizione finale.
Nella seconda manche l’inizio è stato migliore e lo ha proiettato subito nei primi cinque. Dopo aver mantenuto la posizione per un paio di giri è retrocesso di una posizione e da li si è mantenuto sesto fino a pochi giri dal termine. Nelle ultime tornate ha ingaggiato un duello con Lata per mantenere la posizione e proprio all’ultimo giro è riuscito ad effettuare il sorpasso che lo ha fatto arrivare sesto. Con questi risultati Julius ha chiuso l’assoluta di giornata al settimo posto.
Nella classifica finale della MX2 si è piazzato sesto. Un inizio buono anche per lui, la base di partenza per partire per l’Argentina per la prima prova del Mondiale MX2 con tanto entusiasmo.
Il prossimo impegno del team sarà proprio il primo GP del 2025 che si correrà a Cordoba, in Argentina, l’1 e 2 Marzo.
NICCOLO’ MANNINI: “Week end strepitoso. Siamo tutti veramente contenti. Già dal primo mattino con la pole position strappata proprio all’ultimo giro buono. La prima manche è stata perfetta ed ho comandato dall’inizio alla fine. In gara due non sono scattato benissimo ma in pochi giri ero già terzo. Poi nella seconda parte di manche non sono riuscito ad essere più incisivo ed ho chiuso la gara in quarta posizione conquistando così l’assoluta di giornata! Adesso abbiamo altro tempo per continuare a lavorare per affinare tutti i particolari in vista dell’Europeo. Grazie al team ed a tutte le persone che hanno fatto il tifo per me!”

JULIUS MIKULA: “La settimana prima della gara, ha piovuto molto, quindi sono stato sorpreso che la pista fosse in condizioni ideali durante il fine settimana. Nel complesso, valuterei la gara positivamente. Nella prima manche ho avuto un buon inizio, ma nel primo giro la moto si è spenta, il che mi ha fatto perdere una buona posizione, ed ho dovuto continuare dal centro del gruppo rimontando fino alla sesta posizione. Nella seconda manche ho avuto un inizio migliore e ho avuto una grande battaglia con un altro pilota verso la fine della gara per conquistare ancora la sesta posizione. Vorrei ringraziare la mia squadra, la mia famiglia e gli sponsor per il loro supporto. Tra pochi giorni partiremo per l’Argentina per affrontare il primo GP dell’anno, non vedo l’ora!”
ENGLISH VERSION
Montevarchi (AR) February 16 – The second and last test of the International of Italy MX was held on the renewed track of the Miravalle di Montevarchi (AR). Despite the abundant rains fallen in the days preceding the race, a weekend of sunshine allowed the regular performance of the event.
Once again our two guys riding TMs have honored their commitment. Starting with the morning timed that assigned the places to the starting gate. In 125 Niccolò Mannini made pole position his own putting everyone behind. In MX2 Julius Mikula detached the seventh time by earning a nice starting position.
Niccolò left as the best could not be in the race one. Once the first turned off in front of everyone at the first corner and from then he commanded the group to the chess flag with a very supported rhythm. The only one who worked in the final was Utech but Nicky kept him at bay until the finish line bringing the first victory of Manche di 2025 to the team. In the second heat his shot was not as good but allowed him to stay immediately in the first five. The first step passed fourth to take to the third for a few rounds. After half the race he lost a couple of positions and then recovered the fourth place three laps from the end. With this placement, combined with the victory of race one, Niccolò made his absolute day of the 125 and went up to the highest step of the podium! In the final classification of these internationals he obtained the second position by placing the silver medal around his neck. A great satisfaction for him and for the team, his beginning of the season also gives us hope for continental key.
Julius in the MX2 at the start of the race one was well taken but at the first corner he was entangled in the center of the group. At the first step he passed through twelfth position and from there he started his comeback. After using a few laps to become familiar with the track, it started a series of overtaking that led him to the sixth final position. In the second heat the beginning was better and projected it immediately in the first five. After keeping the location for a couple of laps, it is relegated to a position and from there it has remained sixth until a few laps from the end. In the last rounds he hired a duel with lata to maintain the position and on the last lap he managed to overtake that he made him sixth. With these results Julius closed the absolute day of the day in seventh place. In the final classification of the MX2 he placed sixth. A good start for him too, the starting point to leave for Argentina for the first test of the MX2 World Cup with a lot of enthusiasm.
The next commitment of the team will be the first 2025 GP that will take place in Cordoba, Argentina, 1 and 2 March.
Niccolo ’Mannini:” Weekend amazing. We are all really happy. Already from the early morning with the pole position torn right on the last good lap. The first heat was perfect and I commanded from start to finish. In the race two I did not start very well but in a few laps I was already third. Then in the second part of heats I was unable to be more incisive and I closed the race in fourth position thus conquering the absolute of the day! Now we have more time to continue working to refine all the details in view of the European Championship. Thanks to the team and all the people who cheered for me! ”
Julius Mikula: “The week before the race, it rained a lot, so I was surprised that the track was in ideal conditions during the weekend. Overall, I would evaluate the race positively. In the first heat I had a good start, but in the first lap the bike passed away, which made me lose a good position, and I had to continue from the center of the group by reassembling up to the sixth position. In the second heat I had a better start and I had a great battle with another pilot towards the end of the race to conquer the sixth position again. I would like to thank my team, my family and the sponsors for their support. In a few days we will leave for Argentina to face the first GP of the year, I can’t wait! ”
