L’impianto indonesiano di Semarang ha ospitato il dodicesimo round del Mondiale; l’unico portacolori del Team SM Action in gara ha confermato il brillante stato di forma che sta attraversando nell’ultimo periodo, sfiorando il podio di giornata.
Il weekend per il giovane pilota francese è partito bene: nel corso della heat di qualifica è riuscito a portarsi subito nelle posizioni di vertice, concludendo la frazione in quinta posizione, a pochi secondi di distacco dalla top 3. In Gara 1 è scattato a metà gruppo, gestendo con prudenza la manche, agguantando infine l’ottavo posto. In quella successiva, invece, si è installato in settima posizione al termine della tornata d’apertura; con il passare dei giri ha forzato il ritmo, agguantando la piazza d’onore dopo una rimonta degna di nota. La performance realizzata è stata la migliore fino a questo momento nella MX2 e gli ha permesso di bissare il risultato ottenuto appena sette giorni fa in occasione del GP d’Indonesia. Una prestazione significativa, che ha ribadito la continuità del transalpino e lo ha portato al nono posto nel Campionato del mondo.
A questa tappa non ha preso parte l’azzurro Andrea Adamo. Reduce da una caduta patita nel corso della manche di qualifica dello scorso appuntamento iridato, il talentuoso pilota italiano non ha potuto prendere parte alla gara. Dopo essersi sottoposto ad esami approfonditi, i problemi muscolari riscontrati alla coscia destra si sono rivelati più gravi del previsto. Una disdetta per lui, dato il buon trend prestazionale messo in mostra nel corso delle ultime uscite.
Il Mondiale riprenderà tra due settimane, sul celebre tracciato di Loket, situato in Repubblica Ceca, dove si terrà il tredicesimo appuntamento iridato.

At Semarang circuit, in the MX2 class, Maxime Renaux finished just out of the final ‘top 3’.
Semarang circuit hosted the 12th round of the World Championship; the only rider of Team SM Action confirmed his brilliant moment in terms of condition, as he just touched the final podium.
The weekend of the young French rider started well: in Qualifying Race he went straight away to the top positions, and he finished the race in 5th place with only a few seconds of gap from the Top 3. In Race 1 he started in the midfield and he carefully managed to finish in 8th place. In Race 2, instead, he was already 7th after the first lap; he then started to push harder and he took the 3rd place after a remarkable comeback. This performance was the best of his MX2 career and he confirmed the good result that he made just seven days ago at the Indonesia GP. It was a significant race weekend, as the French reaffirmed his good moment taking the 9th position in the General Classification of the World Championship.
Andrea Adamo did not take part to this appointment. The talented Italian rider crashed during Qualifying Race of the last weekend of the World Championship, so he could not participate to the race. His muscular problems of the right leg have been deeply examined and they resulted to be more serious than expected. It is a pity, as he was in a good shape and he made two good performances in the last two weekends of race.
The World Championship will continue in two weeks’ time at the famous circuit of Loket, in Czeck Republic, where the 13th round of the season will take place.
