Ottobiano, 8/9 Marzo 2025 – Dopo il mondiale ha preso il via anche l’Italiano Pro Prestige, lo ha fatto dall’impegnativa pista sabbiosa di Ottobiano (PV) che è stato sicuramente un ottimo banco di prova per i piloti e le moto in gara.
Entrambi presenti i nostri ragazzi, Julius Mikula e Niccolo Mannini hanno onorato l’impegno. Il primo per fare bene nella Elite MX2, il secondo per allenarsi in vista della prima prova di Europeo EMX125 del prossimo week end.
Nelle prove cronometrate di sabato per entrambi ci sono state delle difficoltà per affrontare il fondo sabbioso. Julius ha ottenuto il 5° tempo del suo gruppo, Nicky il 12°.

Domenica le cose sono andate meglio sin dal warm up.
Per Julius le due manche hanno più o meno ricalcato lo stesso copione, start non ottimale e gara di rimonta. Nella prima manche ha tenuto un bel ritmo che gli ha permesso di andare a prendere la seconda posizione per poi mantenerla fino al traguardo.
In gara due l’avvio è stato ancora più difficoltoso ma lui non si è scoraggiato ed ha iniziato ad operare una serie di sorpassi che lo hanno portato al traguardo in terza posizione.
Con questi ottimi piazzamenti Julius è salito sul secondo gradino del podio della Elite MX2 dimostrando di avere ottime potenzialità con gande gioia di tutto il team.
Per Nicolo la prima manche era partita bene ed al primo giro, seppur in gara con la sua piccola TM 125 in mezzo alle duemmezzo, era in quattordicesima piazza. Al quarto giro, mentre era nella stessa posizione, la sua moto ha avuto un problema che lo ha costretto al ritiro.
Nella seconda ed ultima manche il suo start è stato buono e per tutti i trenta minuti di gara ha lottato poco oltre la quindicesima posizione. Una spettacolare caduta senza conseguenza nel finale gli ha fatto perdere posizioni e lo ha visto chiudere in 23° posizione. Sicuramente un allenamento che gli servirà per il prossimo week end.
La prossima settimana appunto si disputerà l’MXGP of Castilla la Mancha a Cozar – Spagna. Sarà la seconda prova del mondiale MX2 e la prima dell’Europeo EMX125. Vedremo quindi in gara entrambi i nostri piloti che hanno dimostrato di essere prontissimi a dare battaglia.
JULIUS MIKULA: “Il fine settimana ad Ottobiano non è stato il più semplice per me. Nella prima manche moto non ho avuto il miglior inizio e ho dovuto combattere per risalire la classifica. Sono riuscito a raggiungere il secondo posto, ma ormai il leader aveva già costruito un grande divario. In gara due purtroppo ho sbagliato la partenza ed ho dovuto rimontare ancora una volta. Mi sono piazzato al terzo posto, che mi ha assicurato il secondo posto per il fine settimana. Nonostante le difficoltà del sabato, la domenica si è rivelata molto meglio. Voglio ringraziare la mia squadra, la mia famiglia e tutti quelli che ci supportano!”.

NICCOLO MANNINI: “Tutto sommato è stato un buon fine settimana. Abbiamo sfruttato l’occasione per fare un buon allenamento e così è stato. Il sabato nelle prove tutto è andato abbastanza bene. La domenica in gara uno ho fatto una bella partenza ma mentre stavo battagliando a centro gruppo la moto ha avuto un problema e mi sono ritirato. Nella seconda manche sono riuscito di nuovo a battagliare oltre la quindicesima posizione ma alla fine ho preso un bel rischio cadendo prima di un salto ed ho perso posizioni. Adesso ci proiettiamo alla prima prova dell’Europeo. Siamo pronti e sappiamo di avere un buon pacchetto. Ringrazio il team, la TM e tutti quelli che ci supportano”.

Both present our boys, Julius Mikula and Niccolo Mannini have honored their commitment. The first to do well in the Elite MX2, the second to train in view of the first European EMX125 test next weekend.
In the timed tests on Saturday for both of them there were difficulties to face the sandy fund. Julius got the 5th time of his group, Nicky on 12th. Sunday things have gone better since the Warm Up.
For Julius the two heats have more or less traced the same script, not optimal start and a comeback race. In the first heat he held a nice pace that allowed him to go and take the second position and then keep it until the finish line. In the race two the start was even more difficoult buts did not discourage Himself and Started Operating A Series of over that led him to the finish line in third position. With These Excellent Placings Julius Has Risen to the Second Step of the Podium of the Elite Mx2 showing that he has excellent potential with joy of the whole team.
For Niccolo the first heat had started well and on the first lap, although in the race with his small Tm 125 in the middle of the 250, he was in fourteenth place. On the fourth lap, while in the same position, his bike had a problem that forced him to retire. In the second and last heat his start was good and for all thirty minutes of the race he fought a little over the fifteenth position. A spectacular fall without a consequence in the final made him lose positions and saw him close in 23rd position. Definitely a training that will serve him for the next weekend.
The MXGP of Castilla La Mancha will be played next week in Cozar – Spain. It will be the second test of the MX2 World Cup and the first of the EMX125 European Championship. We will therefore see both our drivers in the race who have shown that they are very ready to battle.
Julius Mikula: “The weekend in Ottobiano was not the simplest for me. In the first heat motorcycles I did not have the best beginning and I had to fight to go up the ranking. I managed to reach second place, but by now the leader had already built a great gap. In the race two unfortunately I made a mistake and I had to reassemble once again. I placed in third place, which assured me the second place for the weekend. Despite the difficulties of Saturday, Sunday proved to be much better. I want to thank my team, my family and all those who support us! “.
Niccolo Mannini: “All in all it was a good weekend. We used the opportunity to make a good training and so it was. On Saturday in the tests everything went quite well. On Sunday in the Race I Made a Beautiful Departure But While I was Battoning at the center of the Group, The Motorcycle Had a Problem and I Redited. In The Second Heats I Managed to Fight Beyond The Fifteenth Position Again But in the End I Took a Nice Risk Falling Before at Jump and I Lost Positions.
