Un’altra incredibile prestazione per il pilota toscano in sella alla sua Fantic 250 XX Terzo appuntamento stagionale per il Campionato Italiano MX Prestige, è la bellissima e storica pista di Montevarchi a far da cornice a questa gara.

Nicholas Lapucci sta dimostrando tutta la sua velocità e anche sul terreno duro della pista toscana il portacolori del Team Fantic Factory Team Maddii trova subito il giusto feeling ed ottiene una grandissima pole position. Buona la prestazione di Hakon Osterhagen che ottiene l’undicesimo tempo assoluto, Tuani 13° e Spies 14°.

Al via della prima manche Lapucci riesce a partire molto bene girando la prima curva davanti a tutti, purtroppo nel corso dei primi giri Nicholas è scivolato perdendo diverse posizioni ma grazie ad un ritmo incredibile è riuscito a risalire la classifica fino alla nona posizione. Federico Tuani, Hakon Osterhagen e Max Spies hanno concluso con un buon piazzamento rispettivamente 14°,15°,16°.
La seconda gara della giornata ha visto protagonista Lapucci. Nicholas ha messo in mostra tutta la sua velocità e i grandi progressi che sta dimostrando da inizio stagione riuscendo a essere in perfetta sintonia con la sua Fantic. Lapucci è partito fortissimo ed ha preso la testa delle operazioni fin dalla prima curva andando a vincere con un grande vantaggio. Ottima la performance di Federico Tuani che ha concluso undicesimo. Osterhagen ancora una volta ha dimostrato di essere molto veloce, peccato per qualche errore di troppo che lo ha visto concludere nelle retrovie. Max Spies 16°.

Marco Maddii:”Abbiamo sfiorato la giornata perfetta, Nicholas è stato veloce fin dalle prime prove libere, peccato solo per la scivolata di gara 1. Stiamo lavorando molto bene e abbiamo fatto uno step in avanti con la moto. Lapucci sta dimostrando tutto il suo valore e la sua velocità. Buona gara anche per Hakon, peccato per qualche errore di troppo che non gli ha permesso di portarsi a casa un buon risultato. Ottimo Federico che è stato molto vicino alla top ten. Continuiamo a lavorare per migliorarci ancora.”

lmost a perfect weekend for Nicholas Lapucci
The Tuscan rider’s performance was incredible once again with his 250XX Fantic
The historical track of Montevarchi hosted the third seasonal appointment of the Prestige MX Italian Championship.
Nicholas Lapucci has been constantly showing his potential and did it again on the hard ground of the Tuscan track. The Fantic Factory Team Maddii member immediately found the right feeling and clinched an excellent pole position. Also Hakon Osterhagen was the author of a good performance with the 11th fastest time; Tuani was 13th and Spies 14th.
Lapucci pulled away at the start of moto1 and led the pack right at the first corner, but despite the promising start Nicholas slipped and lost ground. His strong race pace allowed him to work his way up however, so he ended up with the ninth position. Federico Tuani, Hakon Osterhagen and Max Spies did well too and classified 14th, 15th and 16th respectively.
Lapucci starred in the second heat thanks to his excellent rhythm, showing once again the significant progress achieved since the kick-off of the season and the perfect sync with his Fantic machinery. Lapucci’s start was very consistent, after opening up a gap over rivals he won Race2. Another excellent performance was achieved by Federico Tuani, 11th. Osterhagen pushed hard and was very fast too, unfortunately too many mistakes pushed him back at the end of the pack. Max Spies classified 16th.
Marco Maddii: “We slightly missed a perfect day today. Nicholas was fast since the free practice, too bad he slipped in Race1. We’ve been working really well and made a lot of progress with the bike. Lapucci has been showing potential and speed. The race went well for Hakon as well, unfortunately those mistakes didn’t grant him a great result. Federico did great too as he classified close to the top-ten. We’ll carry on working to improve more and more”.
