Dopo due anni di assenza a causa della pandemia, il Mondiale Motocross torna dall’altra parte dell’oceano, in Argentina, sulla bellissima pista di Villa La Angostura, tracciato velocissimo e spettacolare.

Il team Beta SDM Corse al via con il solo Jeremy Van Horebeek, mentre Alessandro Lupino sta continuando il proficuo lavoro di sviluppo in vista delle prossime gare europee.
Nelle qualifiche, Jeremy ha trovato subito un buon ritmo, andando a segnare il decimo tempo.
La manche di qualifica del sabato, Van Horebeek ha perso alcune posizioni in partenza ma ha trovato poi il suo ritmo, riuscendo a recuperare fino alla nona posizione finale.
In gara 1, Jeremy è stato ostacolato dagli avversari all’abbassarsi del cancello e non è riuscito a trovare il giusto varco. Il pilota belga, grazie ad una gara tutta all’attacco, ha messo in scena un’ottima gara, compiendo diversi sorpassi, e concludendo con un eccezionale settimo posto.
Anche gara 2 ha visto una prova molto solida da parte di Jeremy. L’ottima uscita dal cancello gli ha permesso di entrare subito tra i migliori protagonisti della MXGP e grazie al suo ottimo passo gara Van Horebeek ha chiuso al settimo posto.
Jeremy chiude il Gp di Argentina al sesto posto assoluto e nella classifica del Mondiale sale in quinta posizione Assoluta.
Il team Beta SDM Corse sarà impegnato la prossima settimana con Alessandro Lupino nella prima prova del Campionato Italiano, a Maggiora.

Van Horebeek ha dimostrato ottima velocità e grande concentrazione, non sbagliando niente nelle due manche. Ha concluso con un grande sesto posto di giornata e quinto in classifica generale, per noi è un grande risultato che vogliamo tenerci stretto. ENGLISH VERSION
After two years of absence due to the pandemic, the Motocross World Championship is back on the other side of the Ocean, in Argentina, on the beautiful track of Villa La Angostura, a very fast and spectacular track.
Beta SDM Corse team was at the start with only Jeremy Van Horebeek, while Alessandro Lupino is continuing the profitable development work in view of the next European races.
In qualifying, Jeremy immediately found a good rhythm, setting the tenth fastest time.
In Saturday’s qualifying manche, Van Horebeek lost some positions at the start but then found his pace, managing to recover up to ninth final position.
In race 1, Jeremy was blocked by rivals as the gate came down and could not find the right gap. The Belgian rider, thanks to a race on the aggressive side, staged an excellent race, making several overtakes, and finishing in an exceptional seventh position.
Race 2 also saw a very solid performance from Jeremy. A very good exit from the gate allowed him to enter immediately among the best protagonists of MXGP and thanks to his excellent race pace Van Horebeek finished in seventh place.
Jeremy finished the Argentine GP in sixth place Overall and in the World Championship standings he climbs to fifth Overall.
The Beta SDM Corse team will be involved next week with Alessandro Lupino in the first round of the Italian Championship, in Maggiora.
