In Repubblica Ceca sulla pista di Loket si è corso il tredicesimo appuntamento del Mondiale MXGP, il team Beta SDM Corse si presenta a questa gara con il solo Jeremy Van Horebeek, purtroppo Alessandro Lupino non è ancora pronto per ritornare in gara in quanto l’infezione post-operatoria persiste impossibilitandolo per il momento a riprendere l’attività agonistica.

Jeremy, sul fondo duro di Loket riesce a trovare un buon feeling, andando a far segnare il nono tempo nelle prove cronometrate.
Nella manche di qualifica Jeremy, dopo un avvio non facile che lo ha visto transitare nella parte bassa della classifica, ha recuperato con un ottimo ritmo riuscendo a chiudere in dodicesima posizione.
Van Horebeek la domenica mattina è stato vittima di un attacco febbrile, ma nonostante questo il forte pilota belga ha deciso di schierarsi dietro il cancello di Gara 1. Jeremy ha stretto i denti, e con una prestazione incredibile, ha tenuto un ritmo altissimo per tutti i 30 minuti della gara andando a conquistare un prezioso undicesimo posto.
Purtroppo le sue condizioni di salute non gli hanno permesso di scendere in pista per la seconda manche.
Il team Beta SDM Corse si sposta adesso a Lommel, per la gara di casa di Jeremy Van Horebeek.
Daniele Marchese commenta così la gara: “Un fine settimana a due facce, sabato Jeremy è stato molto veloce e costante ottenendo un ottimo risultato. Purtroppo già dal Warm-up di domenica mattina è sceso in pista con la febbre e nonostante questo in Gara 1 ha fatto una manche incredibile. Siamo comunque contenti di quello che ha fatto vedere in pista, abbiamo perso punti in campionato ma siamo ancora nella top ten, adesso cercheremo di continuare a lavorare per migliorare i nostri risultati.”

The thirteenth round of the MXGP World Championship took place in the Czech Republic on the track of Loket, the Beta SDM Corse team comes to this race with only Jeremy Van Horebeek, unfortunately Alessandro Lupino is not yet ready to return to racing as the post-operative infection persists preventing him for the moment to resume competitive activity.
Jeremy managed to find a good feeling on the hard ground of Loket, scoring the ninth fastest time in the time practices.
In the qualifying race Jeremy, after a not easy start which saw him pass in the lower part of the classification, recovered with an excellent rhythm and managed to finish in twelfth position.
Van Horebeek was the victim of a bout of fever on Sunday morning, but despite this the Belgian rider decided to line up behind the gate for Race 1. Jeremy gritted his teeth, and with an incredible performance, kept a very high pace for the entire 30 minutes of the race, going on to take a valuable eleventh position.
Unfortunately, his health condition did not allow him to take part in the second race.
The Beta SDM Corse team now moves on to Lommel, for the home race of Jeremy Van Horebeek.
Daniele Marchese comments on the race as follows: “A weekend with two faces, on Saturday Jeremy was very fast and consistent, obtaining an excellent result. Unfortunately, already since the warm-up on Sunday morning he took to the track with fever and despite this in Race 1 he did an incredible race. Anyway, we are happy with what he showed on track, we lost points in the Championship but we are still in the top ten, now we will try to keep working to improve our results.”
