Il leader del FIM MX2 Motocross World Championship, Andrea Adamo, ha firmato un’estensione pluriennale del suo attuale contratto con la Red Bull KTM Factory Racing.

Il 19enne è entrato nel set-up ufficiale per il 2023 ed è il terzo italiano a guidare la KTM SX-F dall’inizio dello scorso decennio. Adamo si è unito efficacemente a Joel Smets e al Team Manager Tony Cairoli per iniziare la campagna con forza in sella alla KTM 250 SX-F in MX2; conquistando un podio nella gara di apertura e poi un altro terzo posto e la sua prima vittoria in un Gran Premio ad Arco di Trento per la quarta gara dell’anno.
Adamo ha messo a segno sette podi dalla prima metà della lista 2023 – il totale più alto prima del Gran Premio della Repubblica Ceca – e deve ancora finire fuori dai primi sette in ventidue manche. Questa eccellente coerenza significa che attualmente detiene la tabella rossa come leader del campionato.
La maturità, l’etica del lavoro e la determinazione di Andrea sono state molto apprezzate. Si è completamente guadagnato la sua sella alla Red Bull KTM Factory Racing e il team è lieto di sistemare i suoi servizi per le prossime stagioni MXGP.
Andrea Adamo: “È così bello prolungare il mio contratto. Mi trovo bene con la squadra e non posso chiedere di più. Quest’anno sta andando bene finora e abbiamo vinto gare, preso la tabella rossa e finito molto sul podio. Questo è ciò per cui stiamo lavorando e stiamo raggiungendo i nostri obiettivi, ma vogliamo sempre di più. Sono molto orgoglioso di avere una maglia da gara con il logo Red Bull KTM e sono felice di poterla indossare ancora per molto tempo dopo questa stagione“.

FIM MX2 Motocross World Championship leader, Andrea Adamo, has signed a multi-year extension to his current contract with Red Bull KTM Factory Racing.
The 19-year-old came into the official set-up for 2023 and as the third Italian to steer works KTM SX-F machinery since the beginning of the last decade. Adamo linked up effectively with Joel Smets and Team Manager Tony Cairoli to begin the campaign strongly aboard the KTM 250 SX-F in MX2; taking a podium finish at the opening round and then another top three and his maiden Grand Prix victory at Arco di Trento for the fourth race of the year.
Adamo has posted seven rostrums from the first half of the 2023 slate – the joint-highest total prior to the Grand Prix of Czech Republic – and has yet to finish outside the top seven in twenty-two motos. This excellent consistency means he currently holds the red plate as championship leader.
Andrea’s maturity, work ethic and determination have been highly appreciated. He has thoroughly earned his saddle at Red Bull KTM Factory Racing and the team is delighted to fix his services for the coming MXGP seasons.
