Prova importante in vista del mondiale MXGP in programma fra circa due settimane.
Il team si presenta all’appuntamento con i piloti Jasikonis e Forato rispettivamente schierati in MX1 e MX2.
Le prime prove cronometrate registrano buoni tempi, Jasikonis si aggiudica il 7th cancelletto , a significare che il giovane pilota sta trovando il giusto feeling con la sua CRF450R 2018.
Forato fatica nel trovare il giusto passo riesce comunque a qualificarsi, partirà 29th.
In gara 1 MX1 Jasikonis parte bene, ma un problema tecnico agli occhiali costringe il pilota ad una breve sosta in pit-lane per il cambio. Riparte agguerrito e deciso a recuperare posizioni. Buone sia le linee che i tempi sul giro, recupera molte posizioni, taglierà il traguardo in ottava posizione.
Gara 1 MX2 per Forato parte in salita. La non favorevole posizione di partenza di Alberto costringe il pilota ad un faticoso recupero, giro dopo giro Forato trova il giusto ritmo cosa che gli permetterà di tagliare il traguardo 17th.
Ultima prova di giornata vede schierati entrambi i piloti del Team Honda RedMoto nella prova “Supercampioni”.
Forato stupisce con una splendida partenza, alla prima curva e’ ottavo davanti a se piloti campioni del mondo come Cairoli e Febvre. Jasikonis costretto nelle retrovie dimostra subito un gran passo, recupera posizione dopo posizione aggiudicandosi la 13th piazza, Forato 18th protagonista di un’ottima gara.
Si concludono così le prime prove per il team Honda RedMoto che fiducioso e in cerca di risultati positivi è ora impegnato per la prima prova di campionato mondiale MXGP in programma il 04 marzo in Argentina.

Last test of the “International of Italy” for the Honda RedMoto team

Last test of the day sees both riders of Team Honda RedMoto in the “Superchampions” test.
Forato amazes with a wonderful start, at the first corner he is eighth, ahead of him world champion drivers like Cairoli and Febvre. Jasikonis forced into the rear immediately shows a great pace, recovered position after position winning the 13th place, Forato 18th protagonist of an excellent race.
